The Urban Suburban Film Festival

Ladies and Gentlemen, please, please, please excuse me for not blogging in a minute! You know finals is around the corner so everybody has definitely been a bit busier than usual. But of course when I blog, its only the most important things!!!! Our feature for the month is the upcoming Urban Suburban Film Festival which will be held in Philadelphia June 18th to June 20th. One of the festivals Co-founders (Proud Brother of the Lambda Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.!!!) Andrew Harmon stopped in for an interview on our show this past friday to talk about the festival. The mission for the festival is incredible, which is to focus on the arts and critiquing different films as well. Andrew was telling us that the festival will be holding workshops for filmmakers, actors, directors, editors, and especially students that are aspiring in these fields. This will definitely be an event that everyone in the area (if your here for the summer) should attend. The diversity of this festival is incredible as well; to mix the arts from Suburban and Urban areas is something that is not common through film and the arts. I want to commend Andrew and George Blackmon (the other Co-Founder) for putting this event together. I am definitely looking forward to it. W.H.I.P. Fashion Show!!!!! THIS FRIDAY BAYBAYY!!!!!!!!!

APRIL 10th IS GOING TO BE BANANAS........This Friday, W.H.I.P Temple University's Student Run Radio Station will be hosting the 10th Annual Spring Fashion Show. Every year, this show gets bigger and better. With unique and new fresh clothing lines, and models who truly work the runway, there isn't a better way to spend a Friday night. All of the On-Air's will be IN THE BUILDING!!!!!!! There will also be performances that will be taking place throughout the night.....IF YOU ARE NOT THERE.....THAT'S CRAZZZYYYY CAUSE THIS IS THE EVENT OF THE YEAR!!!!!!! Dante Stallworth Bout To Get Crushed Harder Than That!!!

Ladies and Gents!!!!!!! I am back on the blog... Just a quick recap, I want to first apologize for my absence. It has been a long and strenuous last two weeks and I was just swarmed with obligations. But I got some weight off my shoulders so now I am back in it baybayyy!!!! First off,
what is wrong with NFL Wide Receivers and their run ins with the law??? Two of my favorite receivers have been convicted and will (or is) punished for their issues. Of course we all know about Plaxico Burress (his hearing was moved to early June) and sad to say, Ex-Detroit Lions Receiver Charlie Rogers (he was a PROBLEM at Michigan State). Now, its Dante Stallworth's turn. According to the Associated Press, the Miami-Dade prosecutors on charged Stallworth with DUI manslaughter, alleging he was driving drunk on the morning of March 14 when he struck and killed a pedestrian in Miami Beach. I was actually down in Miami when this happened, but of course it was no where near South Beach. Damn man....it is truly sad to see good players going to jail and wasting their talent. KNOW YOUR TOLERANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MIAMI: THE ULTIMATE F***ING TRIP LMAO

This is my last post for the day because I got to catch up on maaad work because of this PLACE!!! My trip to Miami was definitely worth the while and I want to thank everybody who was out there to make the trip so good!! Imagining being fried every single night is a hard thing to imagine.. Especially when you hear stories of waking up to more alcohol...But how true it was...lmao. Before your college career is over, you MUST take a trip to this beautiful spot. Yes it is quite crazy but it is an experience you will never forget will want to tell about for the rest of your life!!! Uncle Luke was wylin out there too lmao....Iight I am back to the studies and making up this work...Keep staying tuned into our show every Monday and Friday at 2:00pm to 3:00pm and stay focused on the blog!!!! By the way, Julius Peppers is now on the Patriots...how unfair is that yo....and ALSO....well nevermind Im going to save that post for tomorrow.... Artist Spotlight: Sock The Rapper

We all know how different rap and Hip-Hop has been through the years... What I want to come back is the itty gritty lyrics that go so hard they blow ya top off... Well ladies and gentlemen, the time has come and it is approaching at a fast rate. Sock The Rapper is exactly what the game needs to bring back Rap's true identity. His EP, "The Struggle" is dropping MARCH 20th and the concert (which will be in the Underground in the Student Center is going to be BANANAS). Knowing Sock, his ambition and efforts are truly incredible, which is why the songs he has produced for this EP go so hard.
